Botsford Hill Rd Bridge Damage

Workmen used a cutting torch and some heavy equipment on the morning of Friday, Octo-ber 2, to disassemble a bridge section which was heavily damaged on Thursday, October 1, when the cargo protruding upward from a heavy dump truck collided with the Housatonic Railroad’s railroad bridge above Botsford Hill Road. The section of Botsford Hill Road near the bridge was reopened to traffic midday Friday, October 2, after having been closed for about 10 hours. – Bee Photo, Gorosko
