National French Day was celebrated by students studying the language at Newtown High School on Thursday, December 16, when the school’s lecture hall was filled with food, posters, and music. The students participated in a T-shirt contest, where they walked around the room to display their original T-shirt designs based on France. One students from each class won the T-shirt contest.
