Police, fire, and ambulance personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident about 1:30 pm January 17 near 75 South Main Street. Motorist Reena Sahani, 50, of 28 Pine Tree Hill Road was driving a Mercedes-Benz station wagon northward on South Main Street and then stopped for traffic conditions, after which the Mercedes was struck from behind by a northbound 2000 Saturn sedan driven by Helen Caterson, 78, of Bethel, police said. Ambulance volunteers transported Sahani to Danbury Hospital for treatment of injuries, police said. (Gorosko photo)
