Members of Newtown Underwater Search And Rescue (NUSAR) spent nearly five hours at Eichler’s Cove on February 25, training for the possibility of a recovery or rescue in icy conditions. Three of the team’s members — Fred LeMay, Jeremy Stein, and Dan Tuck — became certified during Saturday’s ice dive certification class, while other members were able to get more time in the water.
