A 12- by 18-foot US flag is hanging in the main corridor at the Newtown Municipal Center at 3 Primrose Street. At 3:30 pm on Sunday, November 27, those who were elected to office on November 8 will be sworn into office in the building’s main meeting room. Shortly after it was reopened to through-traffic on Tuesday afternoon, a school bus travels northward on Boggs Hill Road, just south of its intersection with Sugar Street (Route 302).
