The first session of Continuing Education’s Summer Music and Arts (SMART) programs ended on Friday, July 16, with a showcase for the courses. Students in Intro To Dance and Musical Theater showed what they learned from instructors Joan Nelson-Nolte and Michelle Nolte-DeLuca in Head O’ Meadow Elementary School’s cafetorium. Other courses offered through the program include Poetry and Performance, Keyboarding, Music Band Jam, Yoga for Tweens, and Science Wizards. The second session of programs began on Monday, July 19.
