Taking first place in the Family Division of the Holiday Festerival Gingerbread House Contest was this three-story gingerbread mansion created by the Lundquist family, complete with candy cane pillars, octagonal chocolate wafer cookies for shingles, tiny candy snowshoes leaning upon a gingerbread tree, pretzel square balcony railings, and a wood pile of pretzel logs. A Necco wafer pathway led up to the frosted front door, swerving past a gingerbread boy on gingerbread skis, and a gumdrop snowman. (Crevier photo)
