As a state trooper was posted in a police car in the background, a traffic cone and a length of bright yellow crime scene tape were positioned on Dickenson Drive at its intersection with Riverside Road midday on Wednesday, January 2. Police prohibited public access to Sandy Hook Elementary School at 12 Dickinson Drive which was still being treated as a crime scene in view of the December 14 shootings there. (Gorosko photo)
