Newtown Police Patrol Officer Jeffrey Silver displays an award that he recently received from the American Automobile Association (AAA) of Southern New England for his work in the area of traffic safety. Through the award, known as the Traffic Safety Hero of the Year, the AAA recognizes Ofc Silver for his continuing efforts to protect citizens and educate them about traffic safety.
