Tim Stan created green and white We Are Sandy Hook / We Choose Love signs within days of 12/14 as a therapeutic release for himself and fellow residents. It has become a popular message, appearing around town and the region. Newtown will not be defined only by “this horror that came to us,” he said. His is a positive, defiant message, he feels.
