A gently breeze and bright sunrise welcomed spring at 7:02 am on Wednesday, March 20. Already ahead of Mother Nature and in full bloom is a witch hazel shrub outside the Edmond Town Hall, which has been displaying its yellow petals since late February. Across the street on one front lawn alongside the sidewalk are crocuses than popped their heads up last week and opened to the sun, only to close again in the snow. (Bobowick photo)
