Geoffrey Moore, executive chef at The Inn at Newtown, will be featured in a five-minute food segment, Friday, March 18, on the WFSB Channel 3 Better Connecticut program, at 3 pm. Chef Moore, a Sandy Hook resident and 2000 graduate of the Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, will be showcasing some of The Inn’s spring menu . He will also introduce viewers outside of the Newtown area to the many features of The Inn at Newtown, and offer $100 gift certificates for just $50 to the first 100 callers to the station that afternoon. ![Virginia Zic will have a collection of her paintings exhibited at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro this month and part of next. An opening reception for “Edge of Reality: Recent Paintings by Virginia Zic” will be hosted by the restaurant, 97 South Main Street, on Sunday, March 13, from 2 to 4 pm.
