Police report that motorist Fabio Felipe-DoNasciemento, 25, of Bridgeport was driving a 1996 Subaru Legacy station wagon southward on Toddy Hill Road, near its intersection with Berkshire Road, about 5:36 am on April 3, when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck both a tree stump and a tree. Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps members transported the driver to Danbury Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, police said. Sandy Hook firefighters responded to the accident.
