Bob and Joyce Staudinger stand in front of the barn that was recently rebuilt at their Pole Bridge Road property. The Staudingers were among the two dozen-plus residents and businesses who were affected this past winter when snow and ice accumulations caused roofs and buildings to collapse. The barn behind them has a 100-year-old foundation and an addition that dates back 50 years, but the main section of the barn had to be rebuilt. A crew from Pennsylvania spent four and a half days in Sandy Hook and, working with Mr Staudinger and son-in-law John Ferris, created a gorgeous new building for the couple’s hay harvests.
