During the last full-school assembly of the 2010-11 academic year Head O’ Meadow fourth grade students who passed all eight geography tests provided through the school’s PTA geography program were recognized. The 41 students were tested on the eastern states and capitals, western states and capitals, United States bodies of water, mountains and Cana-dian provinces, South America and surrounding countries, continents, oceans, major seas, Europe, and Africa. More than 150 students participated in the program.
