Newtown Lions Club member Denny McLaughlin was outside Reed Intermediate School on Tuesday, July 12, selling tickets to the club’s 20th Annual Classic Mustang Raffle. As visitors at this year’s Friends of the C.H. Booth Library Book Sale entered or exited the school they also had the option to purchase a ticket or more to this year’s Newtown Lions Club raffle. Tickets are $10 each and are still available for this year’s raffle, which is offering an early 1965 Mustang convertible with dark blue body, palomino interior, white top, factory bench seat with fold down center arm rest, factory A/C, 260 V8, front disc brakes, power steering, and power top. Club members will continue to appear at special events and outside businesses all summer, or you can visit http://www.NewtownLions.com to purchase tickets directly from the club.
