Police report that a three-vehicle accident occurred about 3:28 pm on February 6 at the driveway entrance to Masonicare at Newtown at 139 Toddy Hill Road. Botsford firefighters and Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the incident, which caused travel delays in the area. Police said motorist Roger Knudsen, 70, of Hanover Road, who was driving a 2006 Subaru Legacy sedan eastward on Toddy Hill Road, stopped to allow two left-turning vehicles to exit the driveway. Eastbound motorist Ryan Pasko, 18, of Poplar Drive, who was driving a 2004 Dodge 2500 pickup truck, then struck the rear end of the Subaru. That impact pushed the Subaru into a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant sedan driven by Michael Car-roll, 35, of Naugatuck, who was waiting at the end of the driveway to make a left turn. Ambulance staffers transported Knudsen to Danbury Hospital to be checked for pain. Pasko received an infraction for following too closely. —Bee Photo, Gorosko
