Immanuel Lutheran Players will bring one of the world’s most recognizable paintings to life this month and next with four performances of The Last Supper Enactment. With direction by Mary Ann Grogan and Diane Wardenburg, the Players will offer performances for the first time at Edmond Town Hall. They will then return to their traditional location, Immanuel Lutheran Church & School in Danbury, on Saturday, March 31, and Sunday, April 1. In a one-hour presentation, the enactments bring to life Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” painting, with each Apostle offering a monologue describing his relationship with Jesus. David Lutz, shown here, is reprising the role of James. (Hicks photo)
