Employees of the South Main Street Friendly Service/Citgo station kicked their Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraising into high gear this week. On Wednesday alone, the store raised $371 in donations. A large percentage of that total came from $5 donations customers made that allowed them to throw a whipped cream pie in the face of store manager Carol Lafreniere. Over the course of four hours, Carol received more than 30 takers on that offer. Store employee Jordan Willis, on the left, found every one of the scenes hilarious. Citgo stations will continue receiving donations for MDA until March 23. Customers can donate $1 for a green paper shamrock or $5 for a gold paper shamrock. —Bee Photo, Hicks
