Tilcon Construction workers started installing three permanent asphalt speed tables on the southern section of Queen Street on Thursday morning. The devices are intended to keep motorists’ travel speed down to 25 miles per hour, which is the posted speed limit on the residential road. The three speed tables are located on Queen Street: between Elizabeth Street and Lovell’s Lane; immediately south of Lovell’s’ Lane, and midblock between Lovell’s Lane and Borough Lane. Two more permanent speed tables are planned to be installed on Queen Street next spring. (Gorosko photo)
