Several Newtown families have made it a Thanksgiving tradition to go to Ram Pasture for a capture the flag game and FAITH Food Pantry donation effort. The event organizers, the husband and wife team of Brad and Kate Eggleston, put the event together nine years ago. Every Turkey Day they draw roughly 100 participants who bring donations for FAITH Food Pantry and Brad Eggleston officiates the game as capture the flag players work up their appetites for the big meal.
