A call from Chris Wenis, second from the left, to Geoff Roesch to thank the toy inventor for creating a toy that helped Mr Wenis’s child begin sleeping again after 12/14 resulted in a cross-county trip and the donation of dozens of Starshine Watchdogs for Newtown students. Wende Wenis, on the left, began searching for something that would help her son, and the couple were surprised to find a toy that could do the trick. Mr Roesch recently donated a few hundred of the toys to children in Newtown, including those who attend The Children’s Adventure Center.
