Newtown Ecumenical Workcamp students Lexi Black (left) and Jessica Haitz worked during a car wash with fellow NEWS workcampers on Saturday, June 5, held in the parking lot of Century 21-The Scalzo Group at 48 Main Street South. The group was raising funds for their July 3–10 trip to Biloxi, Miss., where they will provide home repairs for Gulf Coast residents who are still recovering from Hurricane Katrina.
