Launched in 2005 by local entrepreneur Michael Palumbo, Mocha Coffeehouse has had a good run at 3 Glen Road in Sandy Hook. It has offered exhibitions of work by local artists, and hosted recycled art competitions, live entertainment, discussion series, political meet & greets, support group meetings, and countless business meetings and social gatherings during its five-year existence. Current owners Rob Kaiser and Scott Wolfman, who took over the business in early 2007, have decided to not renew their lease, which expires on May 31.
