Well over 100 people were seated in the pews at Newtown Meeting House on Sunday, May 2, and another 50 were estimated to be up in the former choir lofts when Pamela Hoffman and friends performed a gala spring concert to celebrate the recent installation of an elevator in the historic building. The concert was also dedicated to the memory of Ms Hoffman’s late husband, K. Michael Hoffman, and many of the songs on the afternoon program were among his favorites. In this photo Ms Hoffman was performing Rondine al Nido, for which she re-ceived a standing ovation. Accompanying her on the piano was Susan Anthony Klein.
