The Ladies Auxiliary of Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue will present its annual Easter Flower Sale on Friday and Saturday, April 18 and 19. Members of the auxiliary will be at the Sandy Hook main station, 18-20 Riverside Road, from 10 am until 6 pm each day. Available for purchase will be baskets of flowers, flats of annuals, potted plants, and more. The sale regularly offers lilies, hydrangea, and other seasonal favorites. In recent years the women have also raffled at least one large Easter basket. Proceeds benefit the auxiliary, the support group for the fire company. (Hicks photo)
