![Newtown resident Howard Lasher, right, made his annual donation to Toys For Tots on December 10. Mr Lasher arrived in the lobby of the Main Street branch of Newtown Savings Bank bearing approximately 150 toys for this year’s campaign. Branch Manager Ryan Storms, left, and tellers Alex Berardi, second from left, and Lauren Kochanov were happy to help Mr Lasher arrange the toys. “[First Selectman] Pat Llodra has suggested doing something to honor those lost on 12/14,” said Mr Lasher. “My wife, Jeanette Hubley, and I have decided we wanted to do this,” he said of his gesture of kindness. “If you can help those a little less fortunate at this time of the year, it’s always a great feeling,” said the longtime NSB customer. “This bank has been here for Newtown for generations,” he continued. “It’s my pleasure to give something back to them. I’m honored to be part of this,” Mr Lasher added.
