FULL FRAME SUGAR STREET BRIDGE PROJECT

$Police report a two-vehicle accident about 11:36 am on May 20 at the intersection of Berkshire Road (Route 34) and High Rock Road in Sandy Hook. Police said that motorist Deborah Beth Marsten, 59, of 9 New Lebbon Road, who was driving a 2014 Audi A-5 convertible, was attempting to make a left turn from northbound High Rock Road onto westbound Berkshire Road, as motorist Frances McCutchan, 64, of 10 Skytop Drive was driving a 2010 Chrysler 300 sedan eastward on Berkshire Road. The two vehicles collided. Police said the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps treated and released both drivers at the scene. Sandy Hook volunteer firefighters responded to the incident. Police said they issued Marsten an infraction for failure to obey a stop sign. (Voket photo)$
