A two-vehicle accident occurred on Sugar Street (Route 302), just west of Sugar Street’s intersection with Key Rock Road, at about 3:13 pm on October 30. Police, ambulance, and Dodgingtown fire crews responded to the scene. There were no injuries. The accident caused travel delays in the area. Police said motorist Tatiana Stoloft, 56, of Fairfield, who was driving a 2000 Lexus ES-300 sedan, was driving out of a driveway at 183 Sugar Street, as motorist Julia Ann Stevens, 17, of Bethel was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty SUV westward on Sugar Street. The two vehicles collided. There were no injuries. Police said they issued Stoloft a written warning for failure to yield the right of way. (Gorosko photo)
