When Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP) announced its plans for this year’s Sandy Hook Tree Lighting, the group asked that those who were attending the event consider bringing with them a donation for FAITH Food Pantry. On December 5, many of those who headed toward Sandy Hook Center for the holiday event responded. A few days later, SHOP representative Sharon Doherty visited the pantry to drop off the donations that had been collected. “SHOP is very grateful for the generosity of those who responded to our request,” said Ms Doherty, second from the left. “We appreciate everyone’s help,” she added.
