Dressed to reflect their team characters on July 11 were students and adults participating in a spelling bee-style event loosely based on the popular Broadway show The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Last weekend’s event at Newtown High School was presented by NewArts, a division of The 12.14 Foundation.
