Police report an accident involving a motorcycle and a sedan about 1:31 pm on June 7 on Walnut Tree Hill Road, near its intersection with Alberts Hill Road. Police said motorist Theresa Ohradan, 50, of Easton was driving a 1996 Saturn SL-1 sedan northward on Walnut Tree Hill Road, as motorcyclist Salvatore Scianna, Jr, 67, of 172 Walnut Tree Hill Road was riding a 1985 Harley-Davidson FLHT Electra Glide southward on Walnut Tree Hill Road. The Saturn then entered the opposite lane and struck the motorcycle, police said. The Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported Scianna to Danbury Hospital for treatment of injuries, police said. Sandy Hook volunteer firefighters responded to the accident. Ohradan received a written warning for failure to drive to the right, police said. (Hicks photo)
