Sunday’s offering was promised to FAITH Food Pantry, the nonecumenical food pantry based in St John’s Episcopal Church. Guests of the Interfaith Thanksgiving Gathering covered the Communion table, a ledge behind it, and even a small area of the floor within the church’s chancel with donations. A basket near the right of the table received financial donations that were also to be forwarded to the pantry. (Hicks photo)
