Plenty of witches, a few cowgirls, a Viking, some classy gals, and a drunken sailor or two were among the more than four dozen Halloween revelers at the Nunnawauk Meadows Community Room, Friday, October 30. After a luncheon of sweet potato or split pea soup, meatloaf, and dessert, residents of Nunnawauk Meadows, members of Newtown Senior Center, and guests had fun with Halloween balloon volleyball and other games, and plenty of time to admire each other’s creative costumes. “What do you do with a drunken sailor?” was the question put to Nunnawauk resident Al Cable, dressed as a rather battered seaman.
